Sam R. Landers (they/them/theirs) is a voice teacher with seven years of teaching experience and fifteen years of classical voice study as a soprano. After graduating with a BA in Music from Kenyon College, Sam went on to earn a Master of Vocal Pedagogy degree with a musical theater emphasis from Westminster Choir College at Rider University. Their capstone project focused on the effects of transgender testosterone therapy on the singing voice, which included some insight on their own experience on low-dose testosterone. Sam is passionate about voice science, vocal pedagogy and helping people find the voice that fits them. They are currently further pursuing voice research through an M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College.

Sam believes with hard work and appropriate technique anyone can learn to sing, no matter their experience level. Sam is non-binary and is committed to providing gender-affirming voice lessons for queer and transgender individuals, and strives for inclusivity in their work.
